I'm Beatrice, the founder of Hummingbirthdays and of AskMiss Favalli, a Montessori-informed early years consultancy.

Every Hummingbirthdays party is built on the same principles I use in Montessori-informed teaching: clear structure, gentle pacing, and a joyful, child-centred approach. The idea came from experience - I experienced birthday parties and watched parents grow stressed over the preparation, while children felt overwhelmed instead of enjoying their own special day. After being invited to host a few parties myself, I realised how much both the adults and the children needed the day to feel calmer and that there was a real gap for parties built around that.

I tailor the planning to your child and your family, because every child's needs are different and I make sure there's space in every party for neurodivergent children to enjoy the day too.
